Details of Young Coco’s new album “BIC C” (pronounced by Big Sea) have been announced.
This album, released on VERDY SOUNDS, a label run by VERDY, a globally active graphic designer who has collaborated with various brands and companies, and includes a total of 13 songs, including the pre-existing singles “WOKE UP” and “Yoyogi Alien.” There are no guest appearances, and in addition to himself, the producers have been credited with VLOT, gliiico, june, finn.wav, Yenyen, vvspipes, CLOUD48, and BENNYLUV.
The artwork is written by VERDY, and the design features the letter “C” which is also the title of the album. VERDY commented on the artwork: “I felt the power of Young Coco’s live performances, fashion, and humanity, and I created this artwork with the image of a punk band that I had influenced by the hardcore punk bands of the 80s, such as the 7 SECONDS and Dead Kennedys. I designed the arrows to the right, thinking that this is the only way to represent Young Coco, which is becoming more and more cool.”
In addition, a one-night listening event will be held at Henry’s PIZZA, Osaka, on Sunday, March 30th. At this free-to-order event, you can be the first to listen to Young Coco’s first album in about three years, “BIG C.” Also check it out.
