UNITED’s 60th birthday party for leader Akihiro Yokoyama (Ba) who passed away suddenly 10 years ago “YOKO Fest 2024 10th anniversary! Everyone gather!” will be held on September 7th at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA’!

UNITED’s bassist Akihiro Yokoyama, also known as Yoko-chan, departed on May 13, 2014, and on September 12 of that year, two days after his birthday, a crazy farewell party was held at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA’. “Fest”. It was a legendary night that will be passed down in Japanese metal history as the first event to connect the otherworld and this world, with a ghost appearing to be the person himself appearing on stage as a subject.

10 years have passed since then, and “YOKO Fest” is back on what would have been a 60th birthday party had he been alive! The participating bands will be announced at any time, so please look forward to it.
