Singer-songwriter Minami Hisako is celebrating her 12th anniversary in her major debut, and is currently on her third tour of 47 prefectures. It has been decided that they will release their fourth major full album, “AMULET,” which will be their first in six years, on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025.
To coincide with the release of this album, Yamaha Music Communications moved to Columbia Records. We are starting a new start to music activities.
The album title “AMULET” is a title that directly reflects her wish to become a “talk” of those seeking a place to rest in their hearts, and also expresses her own existence as a “talk” that allows her to make new leaps while facing music. Album songs include TOKYO FM/JFN’s Radio Lovers commercial campaign song “Breathing Omamori,” and almost all of the songs are tied together.
In addition, Minami Hisashi Asako’s first lyrics collection, “She Saw Scene,” was also released on the same day.
This collection of lyrics features Minami Hisashi Asako’s songs that focus on “a woman.” Each of them handed her songs to 12 female artists with unique personalities and asked them to create illustrations inspired by the songs. This is a special book that combines music and art, with artists responding to messages from artists.
