The first anniversary project for the 25th anniversary of her debut was the long tour “Yaida Hitomi Singing Tour ~GUITAR TO UTA 24-25~” which began with Duo Music Exchange in Tokyo on Sunday, July 28, 2024, and held 28 performances at 25 locations nationwide over an eight-month period. The final performance was held on Friday, April 4th at WWWX in Tokyo.
The set list for this tour, held in four blocks, the SUMMER period, AUTUMN period (special Billboard performances including special performances), WINTER period, and SPRING period, is selected from all original albums released over the course of 25 years. While reflecting requests from fans, the tour was subjected to minor changes, covering all careers that differed from each performance. The final performance at WWWX in Tokyo took place on a stage that could be called the culmination of this tour.
The background music for the audience is traditional Irish music. When the show started, the lights were turned off and Yaida Hitomi appeared on stage with an acoustic guitar. The first song was “Marbled Day” (AL “Here today-gone tomorrow”/2005). The live sound and live performances draw the entire audience in great detail. The phrase “Don’t go, I still can’t talk enough to you” led me to the Horizon, You and Me (Mini AL “123456”/2013). Naturally, clapping began to occur, creating a pleasant sense of unity.
After giving a positive wind to “Salarisara” (AL “All Light”/2022), which began with the words “With the hope that today will be the most wonderful day ever.”
“Welcome to Yaida Hitomi Singing Tour ~GUITAR TO UTA 24-25~!” I spent about eight months traveling around the country and today I came to Shibuya. It’s the final performance! I want to release all the power I’ve exchanged all over Japan and all of the energy I’ve received here.”

From here on, I had a long time to enjoy Yaida Hitomi’s deep musicality.
“One-person Jenga” (AL “Air/Cook/Sky”/2003), which mixes exotic texture with the feeling of blues, reflects the hopeless loneliness of “I want to meet you, but I can’t.” Along with Ameno’s SE, the show was “The Rainy Town” (AL “VIVID MOMENTS”/2011), and she sang lyrically the sadness of “I” who lost someone special. Then the sound of the door closing goes to “Unfinished Melody” (AL “i/flancy”/2002). The performance, which adds effects to the acoustic guitar and expands the world of the song, is also impressive. The feeling of immersing herself in the scenes and story contained within the song is another great charm of her singing and playing.

“This tour is a singing and singing tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut. When he debuted in 2000, I never thought he’d sang for 25 years, so I’m so grateful,” Yaida Hitomi expressed his gratitude. “There are cute requests for today’s live performance, so I would like to respond,” the performance was performed by the nursery rhyme “Niji” (a request from a 5th grade girl). In the following, “Kate-chan.” (AL “Sharing”/2020), the light guitar strokes and the sound of the foot tambourine echoed, leading to a pleasant feeling of excitement.
They also feature two positive songs that will push listeners, including “Diary Full of Mistakes” (AL’s “panodrama”/2012) and “Happy Spinner” (AL’s “colorhythm”/2008). Audiences clapping and shoutings echoed to the song’s “feelings”, bringing the distance between the stage and the audience even closer.

“Singing and singing is done on your own, so although I’m wearing clothes, I feel like I’m on stage naked. There are scenery and scenery that can only be experienced by singing and singing, so this tour is also incredibly fun,” he commented, and announced that a summer band drive would be held. “I’m looking forward to being able to perform a live performance with the well-known members on their 25th anniversary. I’m feeling a lot of breath right now!” and the audience threw loud applause and cheers.
From here on, the live show will begin the second half. “I think this song has grown and grown by everyone by performing live,” was introduced by “Hands and Tears” (AL “Candlize”/2001). He sang, “Don’t worry, the road is long/Let’s go slowly,” and was enveloped in a pleasant emotion. He then said, “Let’s live a strong life in this world where love and hate are mixed together,” and said, “Ainoroi.” This song, which depicts the determination that “I will decide the shape of happiness” while facing days that don’t go as I want, must have been deeply engraved in the hearts of each and every audience member.

The live show reached its climax with “I’ll do some lively songs from here!” and “Go my way” (AL’s “IT’S A NEW DAY”/2006). The show released one after another of his signature songs, including “B’coz I Love You” (AL “daiya-monde”/2000), “Look Back Again” (AL “Candlize”/2001), and “My Sweet Darlin'” (AL “daiya-monde”/2000), and the entire venue was filled with a natural sense of excitement. The vocals are so stylish that they both have a dignified texture and a sense of freedom at the same time.
The final part is “Life’s like a love song” (AL “Candlize”). The phrase “Let’s sing your feelings/I won’t make you cry anymore” and “LaLaLa. . I think the scene where the chorus of “” slowly spread out was a major highlight of this singing and playing tour.
Yaida Hitomi appeared on stage again after being led by a big “Yaiko” call, and was surprised by the glittering glitter that the audience had raised, expressing their joy, “What, surprise? Beautiful! Thank you!” The first encore song was “Simple is Best” (AL “VIVID MOMENTS”) that was released while strumming an electric guitar. Then, “If you adjust the frequency to my music, I’ll always be there. Connect and connect. I’d like to sing this song with the image of myself not being alone,” and the live performance ended with the song “Circle” (album “TIME CLIP”/2016). It was a fulfilling stage where you can relive Yaida Hitomi’s 25-year career, while also fully experiencing her expression in the present.

After the live performance, set list playlists were released on various music streaming services. In August, the second anniversary project for the 25th anniversary of her debut will also be held, with a fan-voted request live performance, “Yaida Hitomi 25th Anniversary Live Tour “25””. (Hulic Hall Tokyo, Tokyo on Sunday, August 3rd, and Osaka Sankei Hall Breise in Osaka on Saturday, August 16th. Requests are now being accepted on the Yaida Hitomi’s 25th anniversary website until May 7th). As Yaida Hitomi celebrates her 25th anniversary, she continues to expand her music world even more enriched.
