WONK decides to hold a self-cover live show and shows songs they have provided so far

It has been announced that WONK will hold a self-cover live show “WONK:A Retrospective” at Ebisu The Garden Hall in Tokyo on Saturday, May 17th.

This performance is a special project for the music festival “EBISU Bloomin’ JAZZ GARDEN” held throughout Ebisu Garden Place. In addition to self-covering the songs they have provided to other artists such as Katori Shingo, Inagaki Goro, Wada Akiko, and Iri, they will also perform a six-person stage performance featuring MELRAW and Ogawa Sho as support members.

The full album “Shades of,” released last November, collaborated with Bilal, T3, K-Natural, and Kubota Toshinobu, and in March of this year she appeared at the large festival “Taiko Kaisou MEGAPORT FESTIVAL” in Takao, Taiwan, and her live performance also received a great response. WONK is known for its live arrangements, so well known by listeners that it is called “magic modifications.” Don’t miss out on their self-cover performances, as they continue to cross genres and fields, while also improving their performance.

Nagatsuka Kento (Vo.) commented: “In the past 12 years, I have been producing with a wide range of artists. However, these songs have only been performed by countless numbers, including recordings. There are even some that I have never played in a band. This time, I will be bringing you a rare set list focusing on these songs. Please look forward to it! We are excited too.”
