TOKONA-X’s documentary is finally finished, directed by DJ RYOW

The documentary by legendary rapper TOKONA-X, “KING OF BULLSH*T -THE SAGA OF TOKONA-X,” has finally been completed. A premium screening has been decided to be held on screen 8 at Midland Square Cinema 2 in Aichi, Nagoya on Tuesday, April 29th (national holiday).

TOKONA-X (real name: Furukawa Ryuichi) is a rapper who caused a strong “sensation” in just 10 years of holding the microphone, but suddenly passed away in 2004. In this documentary, DJ RYOW, who continues his legacy and continues to work at the forefront, served as the director for the first time in his career. The numerous songs he released during his lifetime, and the humanity of TOKONA-X, which is visible in the background, still attracts people even now, 20 years after his death. Where did its appeal lie?

The main story is 101 minutes long, with realistic testimony from a total of 58 people, including the family left behind, as well as friends and related people who knew the time, as well as artists who appeared in the remixed work after the death.
