Gunma-chan, head of the Gunma Prefecture Promotion Department, held the Gunma Theater Concert at Gunma Kaikan (Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture) on Thursday, March 20th (a national holiday).
Gunma-chan will begin broadcasting the TV anime series Gunma-chan from October 2021.
They released their original dance song “∞ Ribbon Wo Gyutto∞” in February 2021, their original play song “Gu~! Gu~! Gunma-chan” in September 2023, and their “Minnano Gunma CHANCE!” in December 2023, focusing on content aimed at children.
Starting in February 2023, the company launched its YouTube channel “Gunma-chan Gekidan” and will be streaming videos mainly for children’s songs.
The Gunma-chan Gekidan concert started in November 2023, and Gunma-chan and others were livening up the venue by performing popular nursery rhymes, kids’ songs and dance songs on their YouTube channel Gekidan Gunma-chan, and this was the fourth time they held it.
The performance, held at Gunma Hall on Thursday, March 20th (Holiday), will be in two parts: the morning and afternoon sessions, and tickets will be sold out as of advance sale, and approximately 700 fans will be attending the venue on the day.
The cast included Gunma-chan, friends of Gunma-chan, Aoma and Mimi, who appear in the anime series, Deguchi Takashi, a nursery artist who has worked on Gunma-chan’s songs and choreography, Nakano Miyu, an actor who also appeared on the YouTube channel Gunma-chan, and Juju, a member of the Gunma-based idol group Akagidan, who sings Gunma-chan’s dance song Minnano Gunma CHANCE!
The concept of Gunma-chan’s world trip is Gunma-chan’s concept, and the Gunma Hall, reflected on a large LED monitor installed on the stage, transforms into an airplane or spaceship, and together with Gunma-chan and visitors, they will proceed with the story, from world travel to space travel, quizzes and avoid accidents in space.
On stage, the anime Gunma-chan theme song “SWITCH!”, and in the world travel scene, Aoma wants to see a panda in China, Mimi wants to see a rabbit,

Gunma-chan requested to see a koala in Australia and performed a “Panda Rabbit Koala” on stage.
As the venue was excited, the Gunma Hall, which had been transformed into an airplane, tried to depart, but the accident occurred because the fuel ran out and the eventual failure to depart. According to Gunma Kaikan, if you can answer the quiz correctly by Aoma and Mimi, you’ll accumulate energy, so a two-choice quiz corner has begun with a passport with blue Aoma and Pink Mimi, which had been distributed to visitors in advance, color-coded designs of the blue Aoma and Mimi pink that were distributed to visitors in advance, will be displayed on the front and back.
As the quiz progressed, the energy at Gunma Hall accumulated and they safely set out on a world trip.

As Gunma poses around China, Australia, Africa and America, she performs Gunma’s original play song, “Gu! Gu! Gunma-chan.”
Later, when I was wondering where I was going, Mimi suggested that I go and see the rabbit I had not yet met, so I should go and see it, and Gunma replied, “Rabbit, rabbit, moon?” and the atmosphere in the audience was shocked.
Then Gunma-chan negotiated with the Gunma Hall and decided to set out on a space trip, and a 10-minute break was placed until the hall was ready.
After the break, Gunma and his friends paraded around the venue. As everyone gathered on stage interacting with visitors, the hall transformed into a spaceship on the screen.
Then, the entire venue held a countdown 10 seconds before the launch, and as the spaceship was set off, they performed a “Boyoyon March” on stage.

The music combined with the footage of the spaceship heading into space made it an emotional scene.
When you enter space and go close to the moon, you encounter a rabbit with rice cakes. Mimi also commented with satisfaction, saying, “cute.” An alert sound then rang through the spaceship, and when Aoma and Mimi went to check in the cockpit, it was revealed that the asteroid was approaching!
The venue was the area where visitors and the asteroid locations were communicated so that Aoma and Mimi could pilot the spacecraft to avoid the asteroids that appear on the screen, and in the end Gunma-chan used Space Gunma Power to avoid the asteroids and survived safely.

Until Aoma and Mimi returned from the cockpit, they performed “Chuyu ni Muchu” and enjoyed the universe in their songs.
After that, they arrived at the final destination, the Margun Nebula, where you can see the Milky Way Galaxy, and performed “Children from all over the world” while looking at the Earth.
He returned to Earth with a warp and performed Gunma-chan’s dance songs “∞ Ribbon Gyutto∞” and “Minnano Gunma CHANCE!”, and the performance ended.

After the show, Gunma-chan’s high-five event was held, a registration campaign for the YouTube channel Gunma-chan, and a concert merchandise sales event, which concluded with a huge success.
