RADWIMPS is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year for their major debut. This is a song written for the NHK morning drama series “Anpan” (Monday to Saturday, 8am, NHK General TV, etc.).
The 112th NHK morning drama series, Anpan, is based on the couple Yanase Takashi and Komatsu Nobu, who created Anpanman, and the two of them have lost their meaning in life, and the lives of the two who still never forget their dreams. This is a story of love and courage that brings out the joy of life from all over the world, depicting the two who were nothing overcome all the rough waves and reach Anpanman, which embodies “unreversed justice.”
Noda Yojiro’s focus was on “It has the effect of being able to give you the power to crawl out of your futon you don’t want to leave in the morning,” “It is a song with a fresh, vitality that won’t give in to Nobu,” and “Take and adventure.” I’m commenting.

Formed in 2001 and made their major debut in 2005.
The lyrics are philosophically and emotionally depicted from love to life and death, and are highly supported by a wide range of people, especially among adolescents, especially among the generations who spend their puberty.
His musicality is not limited to the band sound, but also includes the animated film “Your Name.” directed by Shinkai Makoto. He is in charge of all the music for “Weathering with You” and “Sparrow’s Door Clam.” He also demonstrates a variety of musical composition in his music with great acclaim, and has won the Japan Academy Award for Best Music Award three times, at the 40th, 43rd and 46th time for each piece. He also wrote a total of 29 songs and theme songs for the live-action film “10 Years to Live” (directed by Fujii Michito), which was released in 2022.
Since 2014, he has been actively performing overseas, and in 2023 he went on a large-scale overseas tour of North America, Europe, Asia and Australia for the first time in about five years. The following year, in 2024, the band also had a great success in a world tour that took place in four cities in Latin America, including regions that made their first appearance in band history, as well as seven Asian countries and regions, including performances in Japan.
In November 2025, the band will celebrate their 20th anniversary of their major debut.
