Morisaki Winn and Shirota Yu will be hosting their first orchestra performance!


Morisaki Win will be holding its first orchestra performance, “Morisaki Win Symphonic Concert Summer ~ Summer Song Festival,” on Saturday, August 23rd. Although he often appeared in orchestra performances as a guest, many people were asked to hold the orchestra performances as his own.

In this performance, along with the orchestra, they will be performing songs that anyone can enjoy, including originals, film music, popular songs, and musical popular songs, and this is a stage that only Morisaki Win, who is active in a wide range of fields, not just as an artist but also as a musical and actor.

In addition, Shirota Yu, who has a close friendship both in both his public and private life, will appear as a special guest, including the musical Pippin. We are also looking forward to the songs and collaborations that are unique to the two of them.

This year, the 5th anniversary of his major debut, August 20th, will be a concert at a memorial time with Morisaki’s birthday, so please be sure to check it out. In addition, advance reservations for the fan clubs of Morisaki Win and Shirota Yu will begin on Monday, March 24th.

MORISAKI WIN

Date of birth: August 20, 1990

Born and raised in Myanmar, he came to Japan when he was in the fourth grade of elementary school, and then began his entertainment career in the second grade of junior high school.

In 2020, he made his major debut with “Parade – PARADE” on July 1st as “MORISAKI WIN”, an entertainer who will be broadcasting from Asia to the world. “Parade – PARADE” was used as a Suzuki Sorio Bandit commercial song, and reached number one on the music distribution charts, while it reached number one on the first album, “Flight,” with five music distribution services. Since then, he has been releasing singles featuring foreign writers, and has also been in charge of many theme songs for “Yutaro Sentai Don Brothers” and anime works. He also holds live shows in the United States and Asia, and has been active in a wide range of artists both domestically and internationally.

As an actor, he made his Hollywood debut as a major cast member in the film “Ready Player 1” directed by Steven Spielberg, which was released in 2018. In 2020, he won the 43rd Japan Academy Award for Best New Actor for the film “Bees and Distant Thunder.” The drama series “Shinki no Shirushi,” in which he starred in the lead role, won the Best Newcomer-Actor Award at ASIA CONTENTS AWARDS at the 2021 Busan International Film Festival. The movie was selected as an “Official Selection 2020” at the 73rd Cannes Film Festival. In the 2023 NHK Taiga drama “Domorrow Ieyasu,” he played Tokugawa Hidetada, the second shogun, and in the 2024 movie “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM,” he played the CV for the new character Griffin Albalesto. Sen, who directed and starred in WOWOW’s Actors Short Film 4, won the Grand Prize, George Lucas Award at Short Short Film Festival & Asia 2024. He also dubbed the role of Mist Ferries in the film “Cats” (released in Japan in 2020). He is also active in the stage play, starring Tony in the 2020 musical West Side Story Season 2, the lead role in the musical Jamie in 2021, starring Jamie in the musical Pippin in 2022, and starring Lloyd in the musical SPY x FAMILY in 2023.

In 2015, he appeared as the popular character Sonoda Yumeji in the original DMM TV drama “Song of the Villain.” The drama “Futari Solo Camp” starring in TOKYO MX and the TBS drama “Peacock Dance” Who Saw? The waiting list includes the musical “Waitress,” a re-run of “SPY x FAMILY,” and the film “(LOVE SONG).” He has been a tourism ambassador in his home country of Myanmar since 2018, and has been an overwhelmingly popular spot in starring in dramas and appearing in commercials.
