Slow-and-relax Huan releases new song “Afraid” that intertwines five and six-beats

Slow-and-moment Huan Huan released his new single, “Afraid” today, Tuesday, April 22nd.

Slow and relaxation Huan Huan is a Taiwanese indie pop band centered around Coco Hsiao, a vocalist and guitarist who also writes and writes lyrics and writes songs. I also remember the performance at the urban festival “SYNCHRONICITY’25” held the other day and the live performance at Shimokitazawa Mona Records in Tokyo.

This is the second installment of 2025, following the release of “Words Unsaid” on Tuesday, April 1st. Through the rhythm of five and six beats intertwined, this depicts the conflicts of life’s ups and downs and true fear, and shows the ethnicity of Huan Huan, who honestly confesses himself.

This is the first time that all the members are trying to sing together. It also incorporates gospel organs and harmonies, casually highlighting guitarist Myles Chang’s gorgeous solo, becoming the core of the interlude and highlighting the song.

Vocalist Coco says the film is a tribute to the album “My Desired Happiness,” by singer Sun Yan-Zi / Stefanie Sun, who he bought as a child. This is the first album she bought as a child, and while writing this song, she learned that the title song “My Desired Happiness” was a pioneer of the 6-times mixed with five-times, and was surprised and deeply moved by the coincidence.
