The pre-single single “Star” from Hoshino Gen’s new album “Gen” will be streamed today, Wednesday, April 23rd. The album’s track list was also released.

The sixth original album, Gen, contains a total of 16 songs. In addition to singles such as “creation,” “mystery,” “comedy,” and “Eureka,” which were released in 2021, it also includes numerous unreleased songs that will be released for the first time on this album, including “Mad Hope (feat. The pre-school single “Star” was released as a song for Asahi Beverage’s “Wanda” commercial featuring Hoshino Gen, and it became a hot topic on social media as the word “Star” that was named after the album title “Gen” and the word “Star” that was reminiscent of Hoshino’s name. The song also features a passage called “From Love”, making it a work that is no exaggeration to call it the title track of the album “Gen.”

Advance reservations for the album “Gen” will begin today with major streaming services such as Apple Music and Spotify. A physical edition is also scheduled to be released on Wednesday, May 14th. In addition to the regular edition, it will be available in three formats: the first limited edition “Box Set “Poetry” and “Box Set “Visual””, and reservations are currently being accepted at each store and online shop.
