YOSHI is an artist who suddenly passed away in 2022 at the young age of 19. It was a sudden incident just before his debut, when it was announced that he had passed the audition project for “YOSHIKI SUPERSTAR PROJECT X” as a vocalist for the band.
This song was planned and produced alongside YOSHI’s documentary “Reiwa Rock Star.” YOSHI released the song “Reiwa Rock Star,” released in 2021, has been revived as a band version with three members of the XY band who both dreamed of at the time. I hope you will listen to “Reiwa Rock Star (RIP),” which has been reborn as a new band performance that lets you feel the bond between the four of them, including YOSHI. The music video for this song has also been released. It is a must-see, as it is scattered with treasured footage and footage from this recording.

YOSHI’s documentary “Reiwa Rockstar” will begin streaming on the video streaming service “FOD”, operated by Fuji TV, from May 15th. Prior to the streaming, the YOSHI special exhibition “Reiwa Rock Star” will be held at Laforet Museum Harajuku from April 26th to May 11th. This exhibition will reveal a digest of documentary footage, as well as a variety of artworks drawn by YOSHI and valuable favorite items. I hope you will take this opportunity to feel the words and footprints left behind by YOSHI.

I usually do REC without listening to Vo, but this time I did it while listening to YOSHI’s voice.
When the four of us met in Fujisawa’s studio and when we performed a live performance in LA, I remembered a lot of times.
Also, I can’t find a word to properly express how happy it was that the four of us were able to make a sound.
I think we’ve been doing it together forever, and I think we’ll always be with us on stage. thank you as always.
