The second album, “Tamaki Koji’s Music World II,” which contains famous songs provided by Tamaki Koji, has been decided to be released on Wednesday, April 16th. “Tamaki Koji’s Music World” was released last December, and while attention has been drawn to his overwhelming talent as a melody maker, “Tamaki Koji’s Music World II” also includes a total of 24 songs, ranging from popular songs that everyone knows, rare songs, generations, and genres. In particular, Takehara Pistol’s “Mannen Assignment No Shoujo” is a song that was born from Tamaki Koji’s addition to a poem by Takehara Pistol, and was recorded for this work.
The cover photo of this work also features a painting drawn by Tamaki Koji himself. It also includes liner notes by lyricist Matsui Goro, who has teamed up on many of his works.

Tamaki Koji
Born in 1958. A singer-songwriter from Hokkaido. They debuted in 1982 as the band “Safety Zone.” He swept the music scene of the 1980s, including “The Wine Red Heart,” “Predictions of Love,” and “Goodbye to Sadness.” He began writing lyrics as a solo artist, and produced many hits including “Dorano” and “Melody.” In 2012, the original label “SALTMODERATE” was launched. While working in parallel with the safe zone, he released his first original solo album in seven years, “GOLD,” and his album “Gunzo no Hoshi,” which sang famous songs by artists who shared the same era. In 2015 and 2016, Billboard Classics performances were held in collaboration with major domestic and international orchestras. In June 2016, the special Balkan Symphony Orchestra was given a tribute to the orchestra, “Song of Joy.” In 2017, the double anniversary year marked 30th anniversary of his solo debut and 35th anniversary of his safety zone debut, and the live concert held at Nippon Budokan attracted 25,000 people over two days. He also worked tirelessly in 2018 and 2019, including orchestra performances and solo tours. In November 2019, the first stadium live performance in a safe zone in about 30 years, “Safe Zone IN Koshien Stadium Goodbye Game,” attracted 38,000 people, and brought excitement to the audience with their overwhelming vocal skills. In December 2020, they released their first new album, “Chocolate cosmos,” in six years. “Denen” made its first appearance in the 71st NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen in 24 years and performed with the orchestra, and was filled with a passionate touch to the nation. In 2021, the orchestra performance “PREMIUM SYMPHONIC CONCERT 2021 “THE EURASIAN RENAISSANCE “ОТТЕПЕЛЬ (Ocepelli)”” (6 performances in four cities), followed by the “КАПЕЛЬ (Capepelli)” (8 performances in seven cities), which was resumed in January, sparked huge applause in various places. Starting in September of the same year, the band’s band-formed “Tamaki Koji Concert Tour 2021 Hometown Orchestra ~ Chocolate Cosmos” will be held at 27 venues in 24 cities across the country. In 2022, he celebrated his 35th anniversary of his solo debut and 40th anniversary of his safety zone debut.
