Harun Nemuri has announced that she will release her new single, “panopticon” on Friday, May 9th. A teaser video for the music video was also released.
This is the second release from the independent label, Ecoraptomenos, and is said to be a song that marks the further evolution of an artist, following the release of “anointment” in March.
This song, which cuts into a structure of surveillance and discipline, intersects domination and resistance, poses questions to listeners with the sharp words and sounds that are unique to Spring Sleep. The guest chorus features Yukichi Kaname/men, and the audience hears a vivid resonance that resonates across genres.
In addition, this song will be included in the new album “ekkolaptómenos,” which will be released on Friday, August 1st, just like “anointment,” which will be released in March. This album, which has produced all 11 songs himself, is said to be an ambitious work that opens up new fields of expression for Spring Sleep, bringing together previous experiences and knowledge.

The Panopticon, devised by Jeremy Bentham and symbolized modern surveillance and management systems by Michel Foucault, is a pan- and “see” device.
