Also, the 4K upconversion video of THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT’s “WORLD CHICKEN ZOMBIES TOUR/1998.2.1/AKASAKA BLITZ” will be premiered on the official YouTube channel from 7pm today, Saturday, February 1st. The WORLD CHICKEN ZOMBIES TOUR began with Chiba LOOK on January 7, 1998, to the domestic 53 performances until Okinawa Human Stage on April 24, and five performances overseas in the UK. The footage to be streamed this time is the first half of the tour, the complete live performance at Akasaka BLITZ, held on February 1, 27 years ago. This video is included in the Blu-ray box of “THEE LIVE” to be released on February 1st, but to commemorate the start of the 30th anniversary project “THEE 30TH”, it will be premiered with an up-converted video to commemorate the start of the 30th anniversary of its debut. “THEE 30TH” was launched as a project to commemorate THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT’s 30th anniversary of its debut, and under the theme of <96k24b, 180g & 4K>, the original master tape was newly remastered to deliver high-resolution 96kHz/24bit high-resolution 180g heavy-duty vinyl, and MUSIC VIDEO’s up-converted to 4K image quality, and the work left behind by THEE MICHELLE GUN ELEPHANT will be preserved in high sound and high image quality. Today, February 1st, the Blu-ray box for the live video collection “THEE LIVE” (released in 2010) will be released, and on March 1st, the first album “cult grass stars” (released in 1996) and the second album “High Time” (released in 1996: the analog record title “is this High Time?”) will start digital distribution, including a high-resolution sound source that has been newly remastered from the original master tape, and it has been announced that the analog record will be re-released. The first digital distribution of their best album “THEE GREATEST HITS” (released in 2009) has also started today.
