To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the label/unit Noroshi Records, consisting of Orisaka Yuta, Matsui Fumifumi, and Yokuichi, it has been announced that they will release their live album “Noroshi Records Live at Shisenkai Noh Music Training Center” on analog records on Wednesday, July 16th.
This work encloses the scene from the event “Tsukimiru Kinsoufu presents Live at Noh Theater: Midoriko Reikon” held at the Noh Music Training Center in Aoyama, Tokyo in December 2024. This will be Noroshi Records’ first live album.
In addition to the familiar popular songs such as “Cold Sleep” and “Noroshi”, the tracks include a cover of “Rock’n Roll Gypsy, part 2” by SSW’s Kanamori Kosuke, who has also co-starred with his own live performances, and a cover of the famous song “Stone” by SSW’s Suzuki Tsuneyoshi, who was on tour with him when Noroshi Records was launched. The live singing and performance reverberated in the special space of the Noh Training Center, along with the scent-filled production, captivated the audience, who took off their shoes and surrendered themselves. This work is said to have a sense of the 10 years of progress and evolution of Noroshi Records, while still maintaining the realism of this one night.
Support members include Haranatsuko (saxophone/accordion), Miyasaka Hiroo (double bass), and Adachi Reisaburo (drums), who share their activities under the name of the devil’s sacrifice from the previous work, “OOPTH.” The explanation of the work is done by Kowloon Joe, a writer who has been involved in the original records and has a deep knowledge of traditional performing arts. Recording/mixing was done by Kakiuchi Hidemi, and mastering/cutting was done by Taguchi Rei.
