The music video for “Kokomadekita feat. Silly” has been released from TOKYO World’s first album, “Entrance,” released in April.
“Kokomadekita” is a song featuring a guest performance by his ally Shiraf, who works with the Tokyo World as a crew member called Legal Nerd Boyz. The beat was created by HUGH THE KID, who also serves as a live DJ for TOKYO World, and is a serious song that spies the TOKYO World’s past and the sobering past that has been oppressed, and the present that has been achieved using that past as a source of energy.
The music video was directed by HIROMU of ZIGZAG, who also worked on the music video for TOKYO World’s first co-starring song, “Symbol.” This video is a delicate expression of the subtle emotions contained within the lyrics, focusing on the scenes of the school where the world of TOKYO and the sober each have painful memories.
TOKYO World will be holding its first solo live show, “Welcome to TOKYO World,” at WWW X, Shibuya, Tokyo this weekend, Saturday, May 17th. In addition to the regular tickets, tickets will also come with CDs from the album “Entrance” (the CDs will be delivered to the venue on the day). Also check it out.
[TOKYO World Comments]
No matter where I go, I always thoughts, actions, and existence were denied by others, and when I tried to do something, I was always locked up in a birdcage in a dark room. I hate all the people around me, the world who didn’t accept my efforts, and the dreams that toyed with me, and I wanted to destroy everything, so I decided to do my best to do the music.
The view I can see now is very beautiful.
This song expresses the feeling of stagnation that I felt when I was a student, which is typical of the classroom or my parents’ house, and the darkness of the city at night, but the darkness that I felt even on a bright, sunny day. I’m a baby face, short stature, and I’m particularly lame in the small countryside that was left behind by trends, and with a red cheek, I’m singing in Shibuya now!
So anyone should be able to do anything! I’m happier now than the yankees that used to be scary!
