ZERO-SITE Takanawa Gateway is a night museum bar and club that will be open for four months from the end of March to the end of July this year. The latest audio system, “Danley Sound Labs,” was first introduced in Japan, providing an overwhelming sound experience that envelops the entire space. In addition, dynamic LED panels are installed on the ceiling, and the visual effects of kinetic art add color to the club space.
It is attracting attention as a new cultural spot, with a lounge bar surrounded by art and music on weekdays, and a music event hosting domestic and international DJs and artists on weekends. This RDC spin-off party will also be held as part of its diverse programs.
The headliner features Moodymann, a veteran who consistently embodies the history and aesthetics of Detroit House and is respected in the dance music scene around the world. It’s been 11 years since the RDC held a day party in Tokyo since it was held at the Harumi Passenger Terminal in 2014.
ID checks will also be held on the day, but those under the age of 20 can enter. Elementary school students and younger can participate for free if they are accompanied by a parent. It seems like it can be enjoyed by families too. In addition, the first 200 people on the day will receive a drink ticket that can be used at the venue.
