FRUITS ZIPPER’s latest single CD, Kawaii Magic (released May 14th), which has been holding the group’s biggest debut 3rd anniversary live performance at Saitama Super Arena and Kobe World Memorial Hall since May this year, has made its first appearance in the Oricon weekly single rankings announced on May 20th, and also reached number one in the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100, which will be released on May 21st.
The title song, “Kawaii Te Magic,” is the theme song for “Oshiritantei Star and Moon,” and also ranked number one on the Billboard JAPAN anime chart JAPAN Hot Animation, which was released on May 21st. To commemorate this ranking, live footage of the song “Kagami” from the CD has been released. Videos of each of the members’ favourites have been released at once from the event “KAWAII LAB. 3rd Anniversary Special LIVE – The cutest thing about us” at KAWAII LAB., where FRUITS ZIPPER belongs, held at K Arena Yokohama on February 22nd.

FRUITS ZIPPER was nominated in four categories at the largest international music award in Japan, “MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025,” and won the Best Idol Culture Song for her song “My Cutest Things.” Released in 2022, the song has surpassed 150 million streaming times.

FRUITS ZIPPER is an idol group that debuted in April 2022 from Asobi System’s idol project “KAWAII LAB.” With the concept of “From Harajuku to the world,” we will be sharing “NEW KAWAII” from Harajuku, a fashion town where diverse cultures come into play and individuality.
Their second single, “My Cutest Place,” released in April 2022, attracted attention on TikTok, mainly by Gen Z, and has been viewed on TikTok, with approximately 2.8 billion views on TikTok, and their music video has exceeded 54 million views.
In September 2023, she released her first CD single, “My Cutest Place,” and took third place on Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales and first made her appearance in the Oricon weekly singles rankings.
In December 2023, he won the Japan Record Award for Best New Artist.
In May 2024, a solo live concert was held at Nippon Budokan on 2 days to commemorate the group’s second anniversary, attracting approximately 24,000 people. In the fall, the first hall tour was held, attracting approximately 40,000 people in 15 performances in 12 cities across the country. In December, “NEW KAWAII” won the Best Picture Award at the Japan Record Awards.
In 2025, a solo live concert to commemorate the group’s 3rd anniversary will be held at Kobe World Memorial Hall and Saitama Super Arena.
