Chinese synth pop duo schoolgirl byebye holds their first Japan tour

Chinese synth pop duo schoolgirl byebye will host their first Japan tour in July.

Schoolgirl byebye is a duo formed in 2015, consisting of Yang Yue (Vo.) and a reborn baby (Dr.). It is currently based in Nanjing. His first album, No Romantics in China (2018), attracted the popularity of the best newcomer award for China’s Abilu Music Awards, and later became widely known for his signature songs such as “Aiii” and “Prince Wang Wang.”

This Japan tour will be held at Shinsaibashi CONPASS in Osaka on Tuesday, July 15th, and at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo on Thursday, July 17th. In addition, to commemorate the tour, an LP featuring bonus tracks exclusive to Japan for two films, the two EPs Summer XX (2024) and Seaside Stories (2025) will be released on Wednesday, July 9th. This will be a joint release between BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS and China’s Baiyuan Singer BACKTO RECORDS.
