aimi has released a new remix EP, “aimi SUMMER REMIXES,” today, Wednesday, June 4th.
Aimi released his 4th EP, “Empower.Embrace” in February this year, and made his first solo performance at Shibuya WWW in Tokyo. This work will add color to various summer scenes, including driving and partying. DJ/producer grooveman is a DJ/producer grooveman, featuring the essence of Afrobeats/Amapiano by TOM, a producer who works on Tokimeki Records and other works, “Love Like That (TOM Remix)” that incorporates the essence of Afrobeats/Amapiano by young beatmaker Ren Takahashi, a two-step rearrangement, “I’m OK (Ren Takahashi Remix)” by keyboardist Gakushi, who also supports aimi live performances, and “Chosen One,” the signature song that has been loved for a long time at live performances. It includes “Chosen One Remix,” a reconstruction of Spot and talkbox player Kzyboost into a 90s R&B style.
Aimi will also hold a trio solo show at Ebisu BLUE NOTE PLACE in Tokyo on Friday, July 11th. Also check it out.
