Toyooka Bag®, a local brand that makes traditional bags in Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, has launched the “Toyooka Bags Make Dream Bag Project” to foster future creators. The single “Tsumugu” was released today, Wednesday, June 4th, as the culmination of the project.
This song is an original song written by R&B and soul singer ZIN, both known as members of Soulflex, and producer Mori Zentaro. The two actually visited Toyooka’s bag manufacturing site, and based on interviews with craftsmen involved in various jobs and their experiences in making bags, they came to the production of this song.
ZIN’s sweet and mellow singing voice, lyrics about inheriting our feelings into the future, and Mori Zentaro’s euphoric sound makeup have led to an R&B number that will give you hope for the future.
