Paledusk announces it will make its major debut on the ASAB label! Additionally, the first single, “HUGs,” has been decided to be the opening theme song for the TV anime “Gachi Acta”!
This is a song written by Urana Kei and Ado Hideyoshi, the original work of “Gachi Acta”, and is a spectacular rock number that unfolds in full with the Paledusk sound, completely linked to the world of the original. You can watch some of the videos in this PV.

“Gachi Acta” is a battle action story featuring Rudo, an orphan boy born in a slum where descendants of criminals live, and was serialized in the Kodansha Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022 by Urana Kei and Graffiti Design by Ado Hideyoshi. The TV anime will be broadcast on 28 CBC/TBS stations nationwide from 11:30pm on July 6th.
Their first major single, “HUGs,” will be released on July 28th, and on September 17th, a CD containing four songs, including TV-sized versions, will be released!
The CD comes in two formats: a regular edition and a limited edition first-run limited edition, and the limited edition first-run limited edition comes with nine different trading cards, including illustrations of the anime characters from “GachiActar”, as well as illustrations of Paledusk members written by author Urana Kei.

I started my activities in 2015 and before I knew it, it’s been just over 10 years. I’ve finally made my major debut with Paledusk for the first time since I was in high school! Major debut… Paledusk? real? That’s how it feels (lol)
Thanks to our wonderful connections, our members, team, and everyone who supports us, we’ll try harder and more things we’ve never tried before, and life is only once! I was able to make this decision because I felt that way.
The serious act was also offered directly by Urana-sensei and Hideyoshi-sensei to open the show, and “HUGs” is a song that really touches my heart and soul. It’s now time for Paledusk to open the anime. Even though it’s the party involved, I’m somehow bothered and excited from a third-party perspective (lol)

With so many dreams and ambitions, we will continue to take a new path from here, to the same level as the feelings we have cherished with our friends. Please look forward to seeing how much this still unknown band called Paledusk can stir up the scene and color your life!

There is a saying that the nail that sticks out is pounded.
I wanted to do something different from others, and I was denied a lot of people around me.
However, I did not break purely and pursued the things I liked with love. I have been exposed to a lot of music and dreamed of it, met many friends, and experienced the same amount of despair and unreasonableness.
“HUGs” continues to move forward despite suffering, crushing, and breaking, crying and laughing the days of life he has lived through seriously, and has turned into a song about a life where he loves the moments and moments.
I write this song and the music I make towards my old self, who I have never forgotten to have a pure feeling, and the same people I have written. I would be happy if my major debut would reach more pilgrims!

We are very happy to be able to announce this in the memorable year, when we celebrate our 10th anniversary.
And the new single “HUGs” released this time is their first anime tie-up.

“HUGs” has become a song that has a lot of meaning to us.
Our music is filled with humanity and temperature within the intense and chaotic image of sound, and this song is one of the culminations. The genre-less developments, hard sounds, and pop phrases are all “hugged” and united. That is what Paledusk is, and is, now.
I’m really looking forward to being able to cast this sound into a wider world, as I make my major debut.
