Joint project between Gugenka and IP bookstores: A trial session for the store-based immersive theater “Nijigate”
KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO will release the content of our original IP project, “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.” as the first in the development of the store-based immersive theater “Nijigate,” a joint project between Gugenka Co., Ltd. and IP bookstores.
A trial session will be held for the first time at the VWP’s POP UP event held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA IP Bookstore for two days, Friday, June 13th and Saturday, June 14th, 2025.
First released immersive content that allows you to enjoy the world of “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.”
“Nijigate” is an experiential content that allows participants to enter a booth inspired by a transfer device that allows them to enter a two-dimensional world, and wear MR goggles to enjoy. The production stimulates all five senses, including three-dimensional sound, allowing you to experience an immersive feeling as if you were diving into the world of the work.
As the first part, we have decided to release the content of the original IP project “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction.” by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO.
The event will be unveiled at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA IP Bookstore in conjunction with the live event “KAMITSUBAKI XPERIENCE” held on Saturday, June 13th and Sunday, June 14th, and to commemorate the opening, a special free trial will be offered only this time.
It will also be held at TSUTAYA EBISUBASHI Osaka IP Bookstore from Tuesday, July 1st to Sunday, August 31st. Please note that this is a paid experience as it is open to normal public.
In addition, to commemorate the trial session, we have also decided to sell the collaboration holo model of the digital figure service “Holo Model” at Kamitsubaki City under construction” ✔ SHIBUYA TSUTAYA IP Bookstore.

To commemorate the release of the content “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction” at Niji Gate, starting Friday, June 13th, a holographic model collaboration between “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction” and “Kamitsubaki City Under Construction” will be on sale at the trial play venue.
The digital figure service “Holo Model” is a service that allows you to view digital figures of official anime and games characters on your smartphone.
You can freely change the pose, facial expression, and size, and use the AR function of your smartphone to display the holographic model even when you’re out and enjoy taking photos together.
