The digital compilation album “SESSIONS COLLECTION VOL.3” was released on Friday, June 6, 2025, based on the training program “sessions” by Tokyo Community Radio, an online radio platform run by DJ/beatmaker Licaxxx.
“sessions” is a training program aimed at DJs and trackmakers who work on the ground, focusing not only on technology but also on mindset and continuity. It is being developed as a place where artists from their early years of activities can continue to grow practically through dialogue and production with artists active at the forefront.
This third release of this work includes a total of 10 songs by artists working across genres and careers. This work also features artists who are active in the club scene, including Licaxxx, Stones Taro, Albino Sound, and RISA TANIGUCHI. Each one resonates with the concept of “sessions” and expresses its spirit through sound. “SESSIONS COLLECTION VOL.3” is a story that intersects the talent of next-generation dance music with artists who are well-versed in the field. I hope you will experience the realistic sound that plays the present.
In addition, to commemorate the release, a special program will be streamed on DOMMUNE from 8pm today, Friday, June 6th. The program was run by Licaxxx, and a talk session was held, featuring Masahiro Tsuchiya, who runs the Rainbow Disco Club, and Naohiro Ukawa of DOMMUNE, who talked about the development of the “sessions” so far, the growth of artists that have been born through the program, and the significance of this work. In the second half, the album will be broadcasted DJing by artists participating in the album, delivering the latest sounds born from “sessions” in real time. Don’t miss this special one-night session, bringing together the next generation of talent and key people in the scene.
