It has been announced that Summer Eye will release their new single, “Munga” on Friday, June 13th.
Summer Eye is a solo project by Natsume Tomoyuki, also known as the former frontman for the Siamese Cats. This is the first new song in about a year, and is said to be tropical Latin psyche funk, with juicy love and dance. The release date, Friday, June 13th, will be his birthday.
In addition, a pop-up shop called “Summer Eye’s Premium Mango Fan Shop” has also been decided to be held in conjunction with the release of this game. It will be held for a week from Friday, June 20th to Thursday, June 26th at Omotesando New Space Pa, Harajuku, Tokyo.

Towards “Mongka”
I’ve been performing live shows over the past year and a half, and have been receiving so many wonderful vibes everywhere, and I could feel the heat ripening in the middle of my body and mind.
Meanwhile, musical interest has continued to be directed towards Jamaica, Brazil, Argentina and Indonesia, and deep within the creative mind that was influenced, I could hear humid rhythms and generously electrifying harmonies.
In March, I went to Taiwan for a live performance. I learned that mango can be written in kanji. Mukka or Hakuzai.
In April, I went to Okinawa for some reason. I ate rice balls. Juicy…delicious. I’m almost 40 years old. Forty, but Juicy, right? …I thought I needed a song like that. You’re juicy too, aren’t you? As I watched the whale shark, I thought it would be nice if there was a song like that. I listened to Latin Playboys while driving. The dusty guitar was playing with glamour. The sunset in Urasoe was beautiful. I wanted to create a silly party song.
Thus the “Manga” was created. I want to thrust your lower body up. It feels so good that I don’t know if it becomes addictive! ! !
