It has been announced that CHIANZ will release its second EP, “MESSY” on Wednesday, July 2nd.
CHIANZ, formed last year, is a band consisting of four childhood friends, SSW’s eill (Vo., Gt., Mani.), Foi (Vo., Gt.), YABI x YABI Chie (Gt.) and Tsukikawa Rei (Ba.). This is the first release in about a year, and as the title suggests, “MESSY” (a messy, messy piece), it is a work full of CHIANZ-like feel, with the intersecting different backgrounds and musical roots of the four members.
It includes four songs, including the title song “MESSY,” finished with a city-pop-like approach, the first ballad song “TONIGHT,” which is popular live performances, “GIRL,” which was released last September, and a remix of “GIG” by Taiwanese producer SSW LIU KOI.
In addition, a release party for this work will be held at Omotesando WALL & WALL in Tokyo on Sunday, August 10th. SSW’s7coIt will be a two-man live performance with the band, and a CD of “MESSY” will also be released at the venue on the day. Tickets are currently accepting the fastest advance tickets.
