DONUTS Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Nishimura Keisei; hereinafter referred to as DONUTS) and Asobi Systems Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Nakagawa Yusuke; hereinafter referred to as Asobi Systems) have decided to jointly hold an additional audition for the girl band members and cast voice actors who will appear in the official game of the TV anime series “Girls Band Cry” (Garkula), which is linked to real bands, created by Toei Animation Inc. (Nakano-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Takagi Katsuhiro; hereinafter referred to as Toei Animation).
As with the audition held last year, successful candidates will appear as new cast members of the official Girls Band Cry game, as well as release songs, live performances, and appear at festivals.

In addition, Matsukuma Kenta (SCRAMBLES) will be the sound producer of original songs from the band that is formed by successful auditions, and will further promote the music of the game “Garkura.”

Matsukuma Kenta
Born in 1979, a music producer from Fukuoka Prefecture.
In 2005, he made his major debut with avex trax as a guitarist for the rock band Buzz72+. In 2011, the Scrambles music production group was established.
He is well-known for incorporating authentic rock into J-POP, and since his debut in BiS, he has mass-produced emotional rock numbers that overturn the roots of idol music. He is also a pioneer who has had a major influence on the recent movement of idols singing rock.
At the same time, he has also put effort into discovering and cultivating next-generation artists, including launching the label “BAD KNee” in his hometown of Fukuoka.
■Additional auditions for the “Garkura” game cast!
This additional audition will be newly held, co-hosted by DONUTS and Asobi System, and as with the previous time, those who pass the audition will be appearing as new cast members of the official anime “Girls Band Cry” game, and will also be able to take on musical activities as a girl band member.
The recruitment parts for this audition are available in five categories: vocals, guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards (no band experience required). The band will be formed with selected members and will be made to make their debut after a preparation period.

・Women 14 to 25 years old living in Japan (age age as of April 1, 2025)
・After passing the exam, you can move to Tokyo or live in and take active action in Tokyo.
・For those who do not have a contract with a specific record company or management agency
・People who are able to sign an exclusive management contract with a talent agency run by the organizer’s affiliate company after passing the exam

*There is no participation fee for the examination. However, all transportation, accommodation, food, communications, etc. incurred during the review process will be borne by you.
