The music video for kegøn’s new single “TOXIC” released on Wednesday, June 11th has been released.
Kegøn has steadily gained attention, appearing on “BEATCHILD” and serving as part of the curator at Tohji’s host party “u-ha.” This is the pre-single single from their second album, following “NEVER DIE YOUNG” released in March.
Contrary to “NEVER DIE YOUNG”, the song has a destructive and emotional sound, and it gives off a sense of his own conflict, pain, and determination to continue to take on challenges, giving the impression of the full picture of the second album, packed with kegøn’s worldview.
The music video direction was led by genius creator kraken. Just like the song, this work highlights the worldview of Kegøn, which looks from Japan to overseas.
