STUTS on the WAVE, a producer unit made up of STUTS and ZOT on the WAVE, has finally begun. Their first single, “Mom & Dad feat. Kaneee, 7” will be released on Wednesday, June 18th.
Last year, STUTS on the WAVE was released as an original song for LEX, one of Japan’s largest hip-hop festivals, “POP YOURS 2024,” and produced the “Bright Room,” a sibling song by Lana. In addition to holding a solo live performance in the same year, he also attracted attention for his appearance on “POP YOURS” this year.
The two said they had started sessions before the “bright room” was produced. This is the first release under the same name, and is said to be an introspective and emotional song based on Kaneee, which has produced many songs such as “Canvas” and “Feel Missing” by STUTS, and many ZOT on the WAVE’s production of ZOT on the WAVE, including “Demon” and “Need More feat. Elle Teresa”, and ZOT on the WAVE’s production of various songs along with Homunculu$.
