Sagiri Sól released his new single, “lover boy feat. Ryohu” today, Wednesday, June 18th.
Sagiri Sól also attracted attention for the use of “ruby” as the ending theme for the January 2025 season of Yomiuri TV and Nippon Television nationwide network “Secret Kenmin Show Goku” (every Thursday from 9:00pm).
This is the first single from the second EP of Kitaru, and is a song produced by DAIKII (AWSM.) with rapper Ryohu as guest performer. It is a highly sympathetic work that embraces all the real, painful “remor” that lies at the end of a clumsy love. Furthermore, despite the heavy theme of “remor,” the unique worldview of Sagiri Sól is expressed through comical lyrics and natural sounds.
While the first EP, “heat shock,” released at the end of last year, was packed with up-tempo, energetic, pop songs, this work has a mature, calm atmosphere. The bassline movement gives the song a sense of weight and depth, while also creating a sense of lustrousness and delicateness.
