Squad Words & Aru-2's album "Rossai-yasou" released by OILWORKS

The album “Rochibiyako” by Squad Words (SILENT KILLA JOINT, KAKKY) and beatmaker/producer Aru-2 will be released on OILWORKS on Wednesday, July 30th.

Squad Words is a unit consisting of SILENT KILLA JOINT and KAKKY, based in Kobe and are actively working solo. Their first album is a 14-song work produced by Aru-2, who also co-written on the 2020 EP DCG.

This film began with “NOAH” which was created at an event on Awaji Island about four years ago, and has been recorded little by little with each visit to Kobe since then. The tracks include songs that are already familiar to the live shows, such as “Ningen Drama”, “Oha Yo”, and “Change The Groove”, as well as many tough rappers who have been refined in the Kansai club scene, leaving behind a unique flavour that is unique to Aru-2, with rich phrases and delicate and organic grooves.

Guests will be played by Ridho Louis, Nel$oN, Feliz, SEDY NEZZ, Okuju, Kobayashi Katsuyuki, IVO, Sharaku, and Pcill. In addition, the quiet beat co-written with SBK and BUDZ (SILENT KILLA JOINT), as well as the single with Aru-2 in January this year, includes an unexpected collaboration with Kobukuro Nariaki, which is still fresh in our memory.

While condensing the glow of the Kansai club scene that they live and support every day, this piece is a wide range of enriching and enjoyable.
