It has been announced that Bukoiro Momoka will release her first album, “Like a Ghost” on Thursday, August 7th.
Bukoiro Momoka is a solo project by Kinoshita Momoka, who is also known for her activities as a former NMB48. This is the first album, and it contains eight songs, including songs that have already been performed live. While retaining the aggressive expression techniques that make full use of traditional electronic sounds, this work shines with a DIY, nostalgic electro sound like Yaeji and UMI.
Cwondo participated as an arranger in the song “Corpse.” In “Invite You” Ito Shinichi (HINTO/SPARTA LOCALS), who supported me during his time as he worked under the name Kinoshita Momoka, participated on guitar, and while it was closely connected to the context of the recent music scene, it also reflects his own trajectory.
“Proof” was also used as the theme song for the film “Yureru Seikatsu the Movie,” and features an air conditioner bunbun lady who will star in together with Momiki Yoshihito. This is scheduled to be pre-released and released as a MV on Thursday, June 26th, ahead of the album.
