YUNGBLUD released their 4th album, “Idols” today, June 20th!
Regarding this work, YUNGBLUD said, “If the album title hadn’t been called Idols, I’d have been called Change. That’s how it was the biggest change of my life, and I really had to face myself through this album.”
Also, as the title of this work, “Idols,” is based on the theme of “idols,” and in the interview he said the following:
The theme of this entire work is about “idolism,” and why do we seek answers from others rather than ourselves? Why do you only give them value? Why do you thrust your anger and frustration on others? That’s what I’m asking. The existence of YUNGBLUD itself has been a huge source of pros and cons, and at the same time, it has built a large community. But a lot of people have said a lot about me and I have not been able to properly digest it up until now. But I finally realized this while I was making this album. What people say about me is beyond my control in the end.

“Idols” is the most ambitious project of his career, and is the first of a two-part double album (the release date for the second will be announced at a later date).
