[Paul Grant Comment]

The “Raincoat” remix is Shingo’s first collaboration.
We’ve been fans of each other’s music since we connected on Instagram a few years ago.
When he asked me to Remix, “Raincoat” was the song I wanted to choose right away.
I really liked the lead melody.
This Remix uses original lead melody from Shingo’s guitar and synths, reharmonizing (reconstructing the chords) and adding a new bass to match it.
I love how they used Rhodes and DX-10 sounds to play new chords and that sound blended in very well with Shingo’s guitar.
I think it’s the best of my works, and I’m honored to be able to remix Shingo’s amazing original.
