Artist Profile: Suspended 4th
Emerging from the streets of Sakae in Nagoya, Suspended 4th formed in 2013. Seeking a freer form of music, they stepped out of live houses and into street performances, focusing heavily on street live shows. Their overwhelming live performances, challenging the norms of street music, have become a hot topic. The rock band continues to captivate audiences with their versatile play, ranging from vocal tracks to instrumental sessions. Last June, they released a self-produced music video, “Stratocaster Seaside,” and in August, they hosted the outdoor festival “Street Musician Summit,” gathering street musicians. Following this, they released an independent audio source “INVERSION.” This January, they daringly conducted field recordings during street performances, releasing the genuinely live-recorded instrumental sound source “20190121” as a venue-limited sale. Their unprecedented approach to music, proclaiming “music without falsehood,” not only demonstrates the band’s strong core but also their continuous pursuit of truly free music.
