N nulls is a rising star in the classical world, formed by composer Hidekazu Nagai, an alumni at Tokyo University of the Arts, and conductor Sawamura Antaro.
Currently, he is active as a project to create and share post-classical works centered around Nagai Hidekazu.
NEXTVIEW Labels released their album “Nowhere Landscapes,” which includes five songs released every other week since April this year, and six new songs, including new songs.

It’s a landscape that seems to be anywhere, but not anywhere.
New phrases appearing in the repetition drag you into a world that has yet to see light, emotions, rain, crowds, and heartbeat. Just as a place that looks somewhat familiar at first glance, when you change the angle, a new field of vision will expand, the scenery created by this music is likely and unlikely to be found anywhere.
And we once again fall asleep at the bottom of a peaceful abyss. I believe that this will bring peace to each and every individual.
This work appears to gently sympathize with the casual everyday life, scenery, and the emotions of that time, and contains songs that bring new insights every time you listen to it.
The album also concludes with its new song “Into the Deep end II.”
The mysterious melody that makes your body sink into deep water makes this song slowly soothe the listeners’ hearts.

It was formed in 2019 by Nagai Hidekazu, alumni and composer and arranger at Tokyo University of the Arts, and conductor Sawamura Antaro.
The unit name was named “N nulls” with the meanings of “Next Japonism”, “No one knows”, “No boder, only music” and “null” (German 0).
The second season as a unit was held in 2022, and the series relaunched with the genre focusing on “post classical” and, while rooted in classical composition styles, the concept is to build a world of sound that no one has ever heard before.
