The 2.5th generation STU48 students held the “STU48 2.5th generation 3rd anniversary LIVE” at STU48 Hiroshima Theater (Hiroshima Club Quattro). The 2.5th generation students are Okada Azumi, Okamura Rio, Kurushima Yuka, and Zhugetsu Nomi, who joined in May 2022 through an audition for the “New Wave Project” in collaboration with Actors School Hiroshima and local television station Television New Hiroshima (TSS). He was promoted to a regular member in April 2024, and the following year, in March 2025, Okada Azumi became the third captain of STU48.

They began with “Generation Change,” and performed three songs in a row: “The Sailor Dreams in the Storm” and “Inevitability.” With a powerful performance from the beginning, Okada Azumi laughed wryly, “The 3rd anniversary live of the 2.5th generation students has begun! But they skipped too much from the beginning, and my voice was… (laughs).” In response to this, Kurushima Yuka says, “Azumi-san definitely come and see it!” “It’s difficult to do this because it keeps raising the bar to the fans and staff (laughs),” the audience was engulfed in laughter. Okada said with strong enthusiasm and loud applause, “We can only say this because we were confident. From here on, we will surpass all of your expectations!”

In addition to Dance Inter, the next block will be taking on the new song “The Dirty Truth.” Okamura Rio said, “The silhouettes that appear from behind in a row are like the four strongest members appearing! “It’s like this and looks really cool,” he said, showing confidence despite being a little embarrassed.

During the solo block, each member performed songs that they had a crush on in a medley format. Zhuge Boai expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’ve been a member of the 2nd and 5th generation, and I’m really happy that I’ve been able to continue working with these four members without missing a single member. I hope we can continue to support each other and improve each other. I look forward to your continued support in the future,” concluded with the final song of the main story, “You and My Song.”

The encore began with a solo cappella production of the 2.5th generation music song “Under the Shadow of the Elm Tree.” Okada replied in a silly voice, “We’ve been able to get through this far, but what do you think? Our voices are at our limit (lol), but I think the best thing about live shows we enjoy ourselves and that can be conveyed to our fans is. I’d be happy if today’s live show was at such a time. Thank you so much,” and the audience burst into concerns and laughter, “Are you okay with your voice?”

In the final number, “Pedal, Wheels, and the Way of Fall,” Zhuge, who served as the center, was filled with excitement and shed tears as soon as he was able to perform at the end of the song. Okada praised each other, saying, “It’s rare for Noapi to cry the first time. We all worked hard. It was a live performance filled with feelings,” and Zhuge said, “All of his makeup has come off (lol),” bringing smiles and excitement to the audience.

Finally, the four of them expressed their gratitude by saying, “Thank you for celebrating the 3rd anniversary live of the 25th generation students together,” and the live show, which was filled with their three years of progress and determination to make the future a comeback, was brought to an end with warm applause.

The 2.5th generation students are excited about their momentum, and expectations for their 12th single, “Title Undecided,” scheduled to be released on August 27th, are also rising. The 2.5th generation 3rd anniversary LIVE will also be held at STU48 Tokyo Theater (Club Mixa) in Ikebukuro, Tokyo on Tuesday, August 5th.
