Singer-songwriter Yaida Hitomi announced on Saturday, July 12th, the 25th anniversary of his debut, that he will be releasing a new song, “Uso,” which will be released for the first time in about a year and nine months since his previous work.
The previous film, “Ainoroi,” featured Yaffle as sound producer, and the theme song for the TV Asahi Thursday drama “Yuria Sensei’s Red Thread” depicts the image of a heroine who survives strong days in a mix of “love and curse,” but this film, “Lies,” depicts two people break up due to a “beautiful lies,” and the dramatic and delicate string arrangements by arranger JIN INOUE make this a work that shakes the feelings that everyone has in their hearts.
“Liar” will be aired for the first time today, Tuesday, July 1st, on FM802’s “THE NAKAJIMA HIROTO SHOW 802 RADIO MASTERS” (14:00-17:51), a program by DJ Hiroto Nakajima, who has been close friends since before his debut.
It has also been announced that a digital campaign to commemorate the release of “Liars” will be held, and the first campaign has started today, Apple Music’s Pre-Add and Spotify’s Pre-Save campaigns. By registering, you will be able to get a “25th Anniversary Logo/Replica Signed Digital Wallpaper”, and “Liar” will be added to your account from the start of streaming on Saturday, July 12th, allowing you to enjoy the songs after the streaming. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut on Wednesday, June 25th, six DVDs released between 2001 and 2005 will be released on Blu-ray for the first time. Live footage of “I Like” in Osaka’s BIGCAT performance in October 2000 has been released from the first video work “The First Reflection.” We plan to release valuable history footage over the next 25 years, so stay tuned.

Hitomi Yaida
Commonly known as Yaiko. Born in Osaka in 1978, he is a singer-songwriter and raised in Osaka.
At the age of 19, he met guitar and began writing songs.
➤ On May 3, 2000, she made her indie debut on the label Aozora Records with the Kansai-only single “Howling.” On July 12th of the same year, they made their major debut with their first single, “B’coz I Love You,” and their second single, “My Sweet Darlin’,” became a huge hit, and the chorus phrase sparked a “dalidali whirlwind.” His first album, “daiya-monde,” released in October of the same year, reached number one in the album rankings for the first time, becoming a million-seller. He continued to send out numerous hit songs and actively performed live shows, holding nationwide tours and performing events. In addition, along with domestic activities, he also released it on the UK label, achieving a successful UK tour.
➤In February 2020, they released their first mini-album, “Keep Going,” which marks the 20th anniversary of their debut. The film will be holding a nationwide tour “20th Anniversary” Yaida Hitomi Live Tour “Keep Going.”
On July 12th, the company celebrated its 20th anniversary and released “Your STORY,” which was born amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The song, written based on messages from the public, has been featured on Music Video in various media such as the web, television, and radio, with an essential worker working in Yaida Hitomi’s hometown of Osaka, and has become a hot topic.
On the usual “August 15th = Yaiko’s Day,” he held his first live broadcast without an audience, and was a success.
In October, they released their 11th original album, “Sharing,” for the first time in four years. In the same month, to commemorate the release of the album, Yaida Hitomi 20th Anniversary Release Live “Sharing” was held in a “hybrid” format with audiences and live streaming.

In October, the theme song “Ainoroi” for the TV Asahi Thursday drama “Yuria Sensei no Akatsuki” starring Kanno Miho was digitally released. Yaffle has been appointed as the sound producer, and a work has been created that opens up new ground for Yaida Hitomi.
➤ In July 2024, the company celebrated its 24th anniversary and entered its 25th anniversary year.
Over the course of about eight months from July, the first national singing and singing tour “GUITAR TO UTA 24-25” will be held at 25 locations across the country, the first national 25th anniversary event.
