The showcase and conference festival “CUEW” (reading: Kyu) has launched from Tokyo. It will be held for the first time at SHIBUYA FOWS & SHIBUYA XXI in Tokyo on Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th.
CUEW is a platform designed to “translate the talents of all artists in Japan and Asia to the world.” It is a place for interaction between musicians both domestically and internationally, and is a place for new growth and discovery, where diverse talents meet, transcending borders and language. The exchange of learning and encounters will create a “start” where diverse values, talents, and ideas can naturally connect, and together create new possibilities for artists and business growth, as well as a rich future.
The first memorable event, CUEW Showcase & Conference Tokyo 2025 Summer, brings together artists from a wide range of genres from Japan, as well as key players from the music industry both in Japan and abroad. 16 popular Japanese artists and eight overseas music professionals (delicates) invited with the support of the Japan Foundation will take part in the event, creating a new opportunity for Japanese talent to fly into the world through showcase live shows, and the conference will share international knowledge and networks.
