ELIONE announces new album and music video released by BACHLOGIC

ELIONE has released their new album, “Just Live For Today,” today, Wednesday, July 2nd.

Not only is ELIONE a rapper, but in recent years he has been actively writing lyrics to other artists, expanding his range of activities. This is the first new album in about two years, and the entire album will be produced by master BACHLOGIC, following the previous album, “So Far So Good.” The combination of beats, melody and vivid lyrics makes this a hip-hop album that moves forward more colorful and harder.

The gorgeous guest rappers add color to the album’s worldview. The group features veterans, including JP THE WAVY and CHICO CARLITO, as well as veteran Mummy-D, Gk.id, who also has strong solo works, Masato Hayashi and vividboooy, who are on their own unique path, and Sachigi, who are still very popular. Each of them demonstrates their own creativity on the beat of BACHLOGIC.

ZUMI will be directed by the music video for “domestic feat. CHICO CARLITO, Mummy-D.” To meet the expectations of listeners, a thrilling generation-wide microphone relay has been realized.

Furthermore, liner notes by Yusuke “11zero” Ito have been released to convey the album’s contents more deeply. Be sure to check it out as well.

[ELIONE Comments]

I live my life with all my heart every day, saying, “No! It’s not like this!”, but for me, I feel that writing songs, that there are people who listen to them and support me, and that there are people around me who support me, that I feel like I’m trying to live my best today, even in times of hardship. This album, following his previous album, “So Far So Good,” he created a new album, “Just Live For Today,” along with BL (BACHLOGIC).
I think I’ll just put only my favorite songs on my playlist and listen to music, but it’s a work that can be enjoyed from the intro of the first song to the outro of the 15th song, so please listen to it all through the album.
I would be happy if I could help you live in today’s society.

Talk with BACHLOGIC again!
ELIONE’s new album “Just Live For Today”

ELIONE released its 5th album “So Far So Good” in 2023 under a full production structure by BACHLOGIC (hereinafter referred to as BL). With his lead single “99%”, he produced the biggest buzz ever in his career, and combined with BL’s high production ability, this work is still fresh in our memory as it further boosts ELIONE’s artistic traits.

Since “So Far So Good,” the active movements have not settled down, and tickets have sold out immediately for a solo show at Shibuya WWW, releasing the single “Oh My Friend” and the EP “As Usual” co-written with the up-and-coming beat maker: inedemorebux. Among the guest songs, Gk.id “HANEDA feat. Kvi Baba & ELIONE” attracted a lot of attention. He also produced CHICO CARLITO’s album “Grandma’s Wish” (2023), and in 2025 he not only appeared as an actor but also executive produced the film, including acting.

There is no doubt that its versatile activities are one of ELIONE’s identity. On the other hand, as his activities expanded, his craving for further success as a solo artist seems to have played a major role as one of his motivations for creating his new album. The latest album, “Just Live For Today,” which took over more than two years to complete, is an album that fully demonstrates ELIONE’s obsession and creativity.

What really touches me when you hear it is, just like the previous work, the richness of the sound produced by BL’s full production. “LIFE SIZE feat. Gk.id” incorporates afro-pop beats, while “domestic feat. CHICO CARLITO, Mummy-D” presents a bouncy funk sound reminiscent of the West Coast. “No No” is taking on the New York sound: sexy drill beat, which has dominated the US scene in recent years. “Guess Who’s Back feat. BACHLOGIC” seems to have been conscious of the revival of the BL sound from the early to mid-2000s, and grins at the classic classic hip-hop beat (and also hooks made by BL’s own voice!). This is the second installment of this film, and there is no sign of any concern about the production with Super Producer: BL, and it is really well-ventilated. The richness of the sound of the variety also creates a synergistic effect with the original strengths of the melody sense and hook catchiness, and features songs with high potential for hits.

However, despite the lineup of songs with high potential for hits, the core strength of hip-hop has not been lost, and listening to this work makes me realize once again why ELIONE is a reliable artist. The opening song, “Guess Who’s Back,” is a classic self-bosting lyrics, and “Maison” expresses his pride as a rapper by rapping the harsh phrase “Most Rappers are hors d’oeuvres/really painful, so it’s really painful.” “We Don’t Care” has a light-hearted snare roll that is like an 80’s R&B/Newjack swing, but the lyrics are full of rebellious spirit, and when you start listening to it, you’ll betrayed in a good way. Compared to the previous work, it is impressive that there are more words that make you think of high brand names and luxurious words, but it is not in a flex-only worldview, and in contrast, he is able to convey his honest personality through the lyrics, including the training, effort he has accumulated in the shadows, and the frustration, ambition, and anxiety that cannot be resolved by the increase in the amount of change he has made, which makes him feel his sincere humanity. He has continued to put “Loyalty” as his life’s motto, and he has a strong presence in many sincere messages to his friends, family, and the opposite sex, and there are surely many lyrics that can be sympathetic to listeners who are struggling in society, even if they are in a different position.

The album title “Just Live For Today” literally translates to “living for today.” It is true that this film may be filled with his desires, frustration and flexibilities at this point. However, his depiction of his current location reveals the importance of the process leading up to that point, and shows the groundwork for a bright future he is gazing at. So, what is his vision of the future? The hints are scattered throughout key points of Just Live For Today, and his activities from here will show you.
