“Story Tellers” and “Tech” were surprised at two songs at the same time when Hanafu made a guest appearance at the CHiCO solo live “LAWSON presents CHiCO 1st Hall Live “CONFETTi”” at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA (Shibuya Public Hall) held on Tuesday, April 29th (Holiday).
Hanafu has been following CHiCO’s singing activities for many years as a listener. The relationship between each other has been realized after meeting her for the first time when CHiCO made a guest appearance on her regular radio show “Pampaka Cuff (R)” (InterFM).
This time, the music video for the two songs that were released digitally on Wednesday, June 25th will be released on Hanafu and CHiCO’s YouTube channels.

The two songs, “Story Tellers,” written by UZ of SPYAIR, co-written by CHiCO and SPYAIR’s MOMIKEN, are sung by “Story Tellers,” which sings hope for a straightforward future, and “Getsute,” which expresses an aesthetic worldview that enthusiasm for the future, are distributed on CHiCO and Hanafu sides, respectively, and have already been picked up on popular playlists.

When writing the lyrics this time, I think it would be better to have more emotional attachment to the song if the lyrics include words from vocalist CHiCO herself. I thought so, so I asked them to work together.
Also, I usually face the words alone, so I thought it was a chance to spin words with someone else lol
Although it was a collaboration with Hanafu, we first did not compromise on each other and exchanged detailed opinions and created them over and over again, assuming that we would make a work that clearly conveyed CHiCO’s feelings.
As a result, it has become a universal work that sings about the anxiety and hopes of the future that everyone has, so even the parts sung by Hanafu, the lyrics were filled with feelings that anyone could relate to, and I think this was the perfect collaboration.
