A total of 14 titles and 110 songs, including singles and albums released by the three-piece rock band B-DASH from 1999 to 2007, have now begun streaming on major music streaming services from today, Saturday, July 5th.
B-DASH is a band that has created a hole in the scene with its unique worldview, attracting attention with its powerful band sound based on melocore and punk, and its unique “meaningless” language that is neither Japanese nor English. This stream includes many audio sources that are now hard to find CDs, including the maxi single “ENDLESS CIRCLE” released in 1999, which is the starting point for them, as well as the first mini album “FREEDOM” which was highly aspired by fans, and the album “〇”. In addition, some of the works are distributed as “DIGITAL EDITION”, which has some content different from the CDs of the time.
To coincide with the release of streaming this time, a fan-participating campaign called “Your Best B-DASH Song” has also started on social media. A new official X account has also been opened. By posting a song that is memorable with a hashtag, many users are reminiscing about their respective youths and reassessing their own songs, and resembling their own youth.
July 5th is also the anniversary of GONGON, the guitar/vocalist who passed away in 2024. The energy and humor he put into his music still resonates with many people’s hearts.
