AEROSMITH's 20 album titles have been reissued on mini LP paper jackets! The first seven titles will be released on July 30th!

All 20 titles of AEROSMITH’s original album will be reprinted in the style of a mini-LP paper jacket!

On August 23, 2021, AEROSMITH signed a global distribution agreement with Universal Music Group. To commemorate the first time they’ve reissued their back catalogue in Japan after the transfer of Universal Music, AEROSMITH’s 20 original albums will be reissued in the style of mini-LP paper jackets, divided into four episodes from each era. This is a reissue that fans will be greeted by, as it is based on original artwork and reproduces the specifications of the obi that was first released in Japan. AEROSMITH’s back catalogue has been reissued many times before and has been listened to by fans all over the world over the world, but this time, the band will supervise the artwork and add bonus tracks they have selected to each title. This is the first time that a bonus track has been added in the reissue of AEROSMITH’s original album. This AEROSMITH-approved paper jacket collection has also been added as bonus tracks, making it even more valuable, and it can be said to be an item that fans around the world will be attracting attention.

The first release, which was decided to be released on July 30th, is the first seven titles from the Columbia era in the US! The memorable 1973 debut album, Aerosmith (Japanese title: Aerosmith I), is a recreation of the original artwork from when it first released in the United States, and also includes a translation of the English liner notes written on the back of the LP jacket. All of the main albums of seven titles are remastered by Ryan Smith from 2013.

The second one is scheduled to release four titles from the Geffen era, the third one is scheduled to be released after Columbia’s return, and the fourth one is scheduled to be released five of their live albums.

Furthermore, as a TOWER RECORDS purchase bonus (including online/except for some stores), an A4-sized clear file has been decided using a newly drawn illustration by Arai Sumiko, author of the comic “The Person I was interested in was not a man.” This manga is a hot topic that has attracted attention not only for AEROSMITH’s songs, but also for its appearances of songs by actual Western music artists, and has been decided to be made into an anime. The original illustration depicts the moments when the two main characters in the comic are listening to AEROSMITH’s album in their car.
