Aimyon talks about the drama “Unmet”. “I cried so hard that I forgot that my song was being played.”

■On SNS, there are many voices praising the theme song “Ai ni Go ni” sung by Aimyon! “The moment Aimyon’s song plays, her tear ducts collapse.”

Aimyon commented on the Kantele/Fuji TV drama “Unmet: Diary of a Brain Surgeon,” for which she sings the theme song.

The drama “Unmet: Diary of a Brain Surgeon” is a new medical human drama in which the unprecedented protagonist, a “brain surgeon with memory loss” played by Hana Sugisaki, does her best to save the patients in front of her and also regenerates herself.

Similarly to the drama, the theme song “Ai ni Go ni”, written by Aimyon specifically for this work, has become a hot topic, as its sad yet bright and positive melody is perfect for the world view of the work.

In the first episode, there is a scene where Miyabi (Hana Sugisaki), who has started her career as a neurosurgeon again, smiles next to Sanpei (Tatsuya Wakaba) at the end of the story, and in the second episode, Miyabi (Hana Sugisaki), who has started her career again as a brain surgeon, shows a smile next to Sanpei (Tatsuya Wakaba), and in the second episode, the scene where Miyabi (Hana Sugisaki), who has started her career again as a neurosurgeon, is seen smiling next to Sanpei (Tatsuya Wakaba), and in the second episode, there is a scene where Miyabi (Hana Sugisaki), who has started her career as a brain surgeon again, shows a smile next to Sanpei (Tatsuya Wakaba). In the third episode, there is a scene in which Miyabi, who feels in her heart that Sanpei is someone she should trust, asks Sanpei to “examine my brain.” The flow of the music perfectly plays the role of heightening the emotion of the drama.

On SNS,

“‘I’m going to see you’ fits the drama so well that it makes me cry…”
“The guitar in the intro is good. It’s even better because it plays at a good point in the drama.”
“The moment Aimyon’s song plays, my tear ducts collapse.”

Voices such as these have been posted one after another, and there is no end to the number of viewers who are moved to tears by the singing voices.

Aimyon herself also posted on her Instagram story, “Unmet real tie!!” Now, a comment has arrived from Aimyon, who enjoys “Unmet” just like the viewers.

The theme song “Ai ni Iku ni” by Aimyon will be available for pre-release from May 1st. In addition, her 16th single “Ai ni Iku no Ni” is scheduled to be released on May 22nd.

■Aimyon comment
Q. Please tell us your impressions after watching “Unmet.”
Aimyon:In the first episode, I cried so hard that I forgot that my own song was playing. It was a quiet feeling that shook me. I hope Monday comes early. I’m still looking forward to it!

Q. Please tell us about your favorite scene or character in the drama.
Aimyon:I’m curious about the long red gummy candy Sanpei-sensei is eating. I also love gummies. When I was writing songs, I wanted to eat gummy bears to activate my brain.

Q. Please give us your thoughts and messages behind the theme song “Ai ni Go ni Ni”.
Aimyon:This is a song made with the theme of memory. I created it while imagining how it would fit into the drama. “I will never forget my strong emotions,” was a line in the drama, and I felt like it made a lot of sense. Maybe it’s because I continue to have such strong feelings that I transcribe the lyrics every day.
