The artists who will be performing in “CUEW” (reading: Kyu), which will be held for the first time at SHIBUYA FOWS & SHIBUYA XXI in Tokyo on Monday, August 18th and Tuesday, August 19th, have been announced.
“CUEW” is a showcase and conference festival with the slogan “A CUE for the NEW. A NEW for the CUE.” and aims to bring together a variety of “musicians” from both Japan and abroad to create “new opportunities” between Japan and the world through live performance conference networking.
The 15 teams who have been selected to perform at the showcase live show will be Ajate, Shota Araya, EYRIE, Kan Sano (Band set), Kitamura Tsubasa, showmore (Band set), soraya, NIKO NIKO TAN TAN, N oon, HUGEN, Sakura Fujiwara, Mononkuru (Duo set), YAMORI, Astral Communications, and LAUSBUB. It appears that another group is scheduled to appear.
In addition to the showcase, a conference will be held in which eight foreign music professionals (delicates) invited with the support of the Japan Foundation will participate. They hold talk sessions and panel discussions, and share real insights and inspiration on the topics of the latest trends, overseas expansion, international collaboration and networking.
