The collaboration single “Finest-Kaze” between ZEN-LA-ROCK and rice water Groove was released today, Wednesday, July 9th.
This is the second collaboration song following “DoROYAL MAMBO” released last month. It depicts the feeling of being able to ride freely, grabbing the instant wind that blows only in the “here and now”, and moving forward without being stuck in the shape, making it a light, core anthem. The tracks by TBS’93 have a multi-layered synth sound based on disco/funk, and BaramonK’s talk box creates a three-dimensional look. The grooves that 3MC put out on the track seem to be left to the wind, but also give a sense of solid will, and this truly “Finest” song is complete, with both goodness and density.
To commemorate the release of a limited edition 7-inch record containing two songs including the same song, the “ZEN-LA-ROCK × rice water Groove 2 Singles + 7inch Release Party” will be held at Sasazuka Bowl in Tokyo on Saturday, August 3rd. Additional performers will also be welcomed on the day, and advance sales of records will be held at the venue.
