Ezaki Fumitake released his solo piano work “Suite: Reflection / Reverb” today, Friday, July 18th.
This work is a series of exhibitions by both artists, “Reflection/Reverb,” held at Jingumae MAHO KUBOTA GALLERY in Tokyo last year. In the exhibition, Ezaki produced songs for each piece, inspired by Yamaguchi’s paintings that capture the light and scenery. The installation was created that combines painting and music.
This time, the eight songs written by Ezaki Ezaki has been newly performed and recorded for the exhibition, and this work, “Suite: Reflection / Reverb” was completed as a 20-minute solo piano piece. The work is inspired by a pale, refreshing scene created by the resonance of the sensibilities of both artists, along with the pleasantly resonating piano melody.
In addition to streaming, records will be released in advance at Ezaki’s solo concert, held at Sogetsu Hall in Akasaka on Sunday, September 7th. General sale starts on Wednesday, September 17th.
