Tokyo-based hip-hop crew Flat Line Classics has released their new EP, “Mid Spiral PRO,” today, Wednesday, July 23rd, on Wau.
This work contains a total of five songs that feature the evolution of the crew and life-size realism. This ambitious work depicts fragments of everyday life in layers, and overlaps the past trajectories and visions for the future.
While following the authentic Boonbop style typical of Flat Line Classics, the team has also worked with Wau producer 01sail to try out an unprecedented sound approach and composition. The EP is a variety and deep, with a hard, detailed beat and dope groove, with the sensibilities and life stories of each of the 4MCs intersecting.

In the title song, “Mid Spiral PRO,” four MCs, Sart, Weird, BIG FAF, and Daz, portray their current locations from their respective perspectives. As symbolized by the hook “Everyday Life / Free Fall”, the film depicts the reality of living in a city and the determination to look ahead to the next stage.
All five songs are snapshots of “now,” including the prologue of the EP, “PRO louge,” a track that depicts street senses and negotiations, “Daily Ops,” a track that delves into the reality of everyday operations and spirit, and “Tipsy freestyle,” a track that exudes emotions and improvisation that intersect with alcohol.
