lo-key design released their second album, “Neverland???” today, Wednesday, July 23rd.
Lo-key design is a current R&B/soul unit by singer Salto and producer Rikuto Nagira, who is also known for his activities as shosha. This album was released for the first time in four years, and is based on his own gaze towards his present and past. This work brings out the purest parts of lo-key design. It contains 10 songs with a sweet, light atmosphere, depicting familiar scenery and love with a variety of sounds.
In addition, the album’s lead song, “Neverland???”, expresses “continuing to sing love” with rhythmically bouncing guitar and powerful singing voice. It is a number that symbolizes the album and lo-key design itself.

The theme of this album is “nostalgia.”
All of the songs depicting past love and childhood feelings that have almost been forgotten were born from facing the emotions and memories they had in the past.
These are important pieces that shape us as we are now, and throughout the album it is filled with the feeling that “looking back at the past is also about knowing the present in depth.”
The playfulness and freedom that I left behind as I grew older. As we continued our production, we were able to reclaim them and reaffirm their importance.
This work is a record of our own life-size “rediscovery” that was born at a place where nostalgia and the present intersect.
